KASHY RELEASES A BRAND NEW SONG FOR A BRAND NEW YEAR "The Best Is Yet to Come"

For a brand new year Kashy has written a brand new song called The Best Is Yet To Come. It’s a song with a powerful message of hope and an ultimate reminder why it’s so important to try and keep an open mind in life. Kashy says:

"As we all hope for the best in 2017, I share this brand new song called The Best Is Yet To Come. For everyone wishing and hoping for better days to come - this song is for you!"

KASHY RELEASES FIRST SONG IN MANDARIN: 堅守我的夢

While we've heard of Western singers covering classic Mandarin songs, few have released their own original song in Mandarin. Once a dream for British singer-songwriter, Kashy Keegan (祈家恆), he is now making his dream a reality after taking Mandarin classes and reworking the English lyrics of his hit song into Mandarin.

The song ‘This is My Dream’, originally recorded in English, was previously a chart topper in Hong Kong where it outsold the likes of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. Now, the Hong Kong-based British singer is setting his sights on furthering his dream by recording the song in Mandarin.

"I was so surprised and pleased by the success of the song in Hong Kong," says Keegan. "But for it to really connect in the rest of Asia, it made sense that I should record it in Mandarin as it's the most spoken language here. I hope that with the Mandarin version, more people will be able to connect to the song and hopefully be inspired by it and use it as motivation to achieve their own dreams."

The single “This Is my Dream” 堅守我的夢 (in Chinese) is released through Hong Kong based record label Evolution Music Group on Monday 21 November 2016.

Kashy releases official lyric video for his next single, the empowering ‘Out of the Rubble’

Kashy’s favourite type of songs have always been those with an uplifting or empowering message. That’s why he’s decided to release 'Out of the Rubble' as the next single from his new album, Inner Song. It’s a song he wrote about finding the inner strength to start over again and get back up when it feels like your world has crashed. Hence the title of the song being ‘Out of the Rubble’ to represent emerging from the wreckage and slowly but surely finding the strength to start over again. He said:

"Everyone has been, or will go through a hard time at some stage in life. Sometimes music can be the best medicine to help you through those difficult times. I know it has been for me. That’s why I was inspired to write this song. For anyone who has lost it all and found the strength to get back up and keep on keeping on - or for those people who are going through that right now - this song is for you. I hope that you might find it empowering too."
